The first few week went by in a blur. Luckily we got his cows milk protein allergies diagnosed early, and Zeke could start enjoying life.
Then lock down hit. This had an amazing effect on his sleep as I could go with his flow, and by 10 weeks he was sleeping 10-13 hours straight at night! As soon as restrictions lifted, Zeke’s sleep got worse and worse. Before I knew it, I was rocking a screaming 8 month old for an hour, trying to get him to sleep, and waking up to him multiple times during the night. He was relentless, and I felt tired and frustrated, not enjoying motherhood which after everything we’d been through to have Zeke brought on huge guilt. I didn’t know what happened to our sleep routine, but I knew there was a better way and I had to find it.
